Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have so many incredible farms that provide our food. Many of those farms rely on government funding. With recent funding cuts and competitive grant processes, I’m rallying support to keep these farms in business, food banks full, and restoration projects rolling. We cannot afford to wait on restoring our planet or feeding our communities.I recently co-founded a project called the Tending Terra 4Life Community Food Resilience Initiative in partnership with the Jefferson County Food Bank Association and Treetop Permaculture. This pilot program enhances local collaboration by providing whole-system design frameworks that support long-term program growth and stability. It teaches regenerative systems design and permaculture development with an emphasis on food security, community health, outdoor youth education, and local workforce pathways.

We need startup funds to kick this off and are looking to raise $7,000 to support the community in accessing vital education that will build lasting resiliency for Jefferson County, Washington. All contributions make an impact and go directly into action. Please share this opportunity to give with your community!

Below you’ll see the land allocated for action. Let’s gather, dream and create something beautiful and beneficial for the future.
