Funding & Strategy for
Changemakers, 4Life
Grant writing, systems design, and trauma-informed guidance for people building a better world—rooted in justice, land wisdom, and results.
I’m April Bartlett—grant writer, systems weaver, AstroYoga guide, and bioregional alchemist. My work exists at the crossroads of personal + planetary regeneration, helping movements, events, healers, and changemakers thrive—not just survive.
Whether you’re here for:
Funding strategy (grants, systems, regenerative economics)
Embodied wisdom (AstroYoga, trauma-informed healing)
Bioregional mapping (decolonized place-making, community resilience)
You’re in the right place! Let’s move resources, energy, and vision where they’re needed most.

4Life is where strategy meets soul,
where land and body remember each other,
where great things grow—because you’re here.
THE 4LIFE APPROACH
Regeneration isn’t a metaphor. It’s a practice—of alignment, strategy, and deep listening.
At 4Life, I don’t just "consult." I connect:
Grants that feel like gravity—pulling resources toward your mission
Systems that breathe—not boxes to cram yourself into
Movement as medicine—yoga for the body, mapping for the land
Story as strategy—because change needs a narrative as alive as you are

BIOREGIONAL NOMADS
Re-Mapping Belonging in a Displaced World
"What if ‘place’ wasn’t just a pin on a map—but a living conversation between land, body, and culture? The Bioregional Nomads project guides communities in decolonized mapping, regenerative systems design, and the art of rooted itinerancy.
From the cloud forests of Colombia to the Salish Sea watershed, we help humans:

Design open-source tools for regenerative placemaking
Host ‘Inside Out’ workshops where personal + ecological healing meet
Land & Legacy Acknowledgement
4Life is based in the unceded territories of the qatay (pronounced kuh-tie) peoples (Port Townsend, Wash.) and the wider Salish Sea, stewarded by S’Klallam, Chemakum, and Coast Salish nations since time immemorial. While April & her collaborators work spans many lands, this bioregion remains the heartbeat of our practice.
